My Therapy Promise To You

You can find my promise to you summarised in 6 pillars:

  1. I will be there for you, no matter where you are in life.
  2. I will be open, professional and compassionate.
  3. I will offer a confidential, non-judgemental space for you to explore feelings, behaviours, and thoughts.
  4. As a counsellor, I recognise human rights’ crucial role in mental health and wellness.
I am committed to offering a place that is confidential, warm, and non-judgmental, and I work with everyone: all ages, all identities; all sexes and sexual orientations; all cultural, ethnic or national backgrounds, all religions or beliefs, all genders, genders, genderfluid and queergender; disabilities. In my practice, I am sex-positive, and I hold an affirmative approach to LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer or questioning intersex and asexual +), agender and genderfluid. I am also neurodivergent-affirmative and pro self-advocacy (knowing yourself, knowing your needs, and knowing how to get what you need). I am a Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diversity (GSRD)-affirmative individual. I am aware of my position of privilege as a white therapist, and I am committed to anti-racism; I am conscious that it is up to me to learn and be vigilant of my blindspots and challenge them.
  5. I will have a mutually agreed contract called ‘Terms of Engagement’ with you before commencing therapy. This will clearly state the main aspects of the service for your peace of mind. The contract, in compliance with the latest GDPR, will refer to my Privacy Policy which will be handed to you to review and approve.

Please find a copy of my Privacy Policy and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
